Why We Created CRU.

Have you ever missed a car meet in your area because you didn't hear about it?

Have you ever gotten lost trying to follow a friend on a drive because you hit a red light?

Have you ever passed a sweet car and wondered who owned it? What was done to it? But now they’re gone, and you’ll never know…

Us too... My wife and I are big automotive enthusiasts. We always have been. From building show cars, going to local events, organising shows, rallies and always looking to help our community.

We realised our industry was just behind in the online space. We are constantly juggling Facebook groups, Instagram pages, What’s App chats, forums, and group text messages. This industry is just disorganised.

What we’ve built in CRU is a place where automotive enthusiasts can connect online and in person. Skipping the need for 5 social platforms to do one job. It’s a simple concept and we thought who better to develop this than people who are already involved in this industry?

We understand the pain points you all experience. Since building our latest project a 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63s. We ran into many issues. Trying to find experts on this platform. Quality parts. Good tuners etc. There was no system besides, word of mouth. The amount of time I spent searching Instagram, sending messages to people who had similar cars, finding Youtube videos and messaging and commenting there. Mostly dead ends. A yearlong build journey with many ups and downs.

Now we get the questions from others. What did we learn? Who would we recommend? How can we help? We are all for helping. That’s where our system in CRU started to come in. We just needed a better way to communicate with each other. To share information, make friends, share knowledge, and referrals. A trustworthy platform to make this expensive hobby more practical.

We hope you find as much value in this platform as we do.
